Dedicated to raising cardiovascular health awareness in the South Asian community, the Indian Heart Association is a leader in cardiac health outreach in India. We have conducted several “heart healthy” cardiac screening camps in India. We serve on the board of the Cardiovascular Subcommittee of the Bureau of Indian Standards, Ministry of Health in India. The organization has been featured in leading domestic and international media outlets. In 2015, we partnered with the Child Heart Foundation and British Heart Foundation to raise funds for treatment of underprivileged patients with congenital heart disease in India.
