The Indian Heart Association (IHA) serves on the Cardiovascular Subcommittee of the Bureau of Indian Standards, Ministry of Health India. We work with a variety of stakeholders to help shape policy that improves health outcomes. Our work has been featured at the national and global levels. The Indian Heart Association (IHA) advocates for cardiovascular health promotion for all. We conduct comprehensive heart healthy screening camps, sit on international and national health boards, and partner with global and Indian organizations. The Indian Heart Association (IHA) and Indian Stroke Association (ISA) is a cardiovascular health NGO founded by passionate individuals who were personally affected by cardiovascular disease and stroke. The major goal of our organization is to raise awareness about preventative cardiovascular health through a combination of online outreach and grassroots advocacy.
